Love messages ~ cards

Je t’aime.

Lovely digi stamp .. Gorgeous sketch and very christmassy colors. I enjoyed making this card so much. Have used the lace sticker punch in red. The digi stamp is so so sweet. The sketch comes from :

Another fantastic sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday at : http://sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com/2010/12/sff122410.html

I loved keeping this card straight and non chaotic. Lots of symmetry was complimented by those little single flowers placed sideways to add a little dimension. The buttons too were only to add alittle color similar to the ribbon colors. And here’s my card :

You make me smile.

Such a lovely digi stamp which is so ideal for both genders and loved how this card turned out. I too fancy using lots of 3D embellishments and buttons ofcourse top the list. The criteria in the challenge was to use buttons which is so convenient in any case. I find such sentiments very inspirational and uplifting too.

Blue Best Wishes

For what ever reason, I did not feel like playing with splashes of colors and kept the cardstock as well as the look of this card blue. Not only can it be used for guys and gals, but none of the elements used symbolize any gender. I have used a cake and a party hat to suggest that it could be used for a birthday. The dolly was a last minute change that I came up with ! For anyone remotely interested in tutorials on altered art and card making techniques, this address is soooo important. There are an amazing bunch of women with so much talent card making and papercrafts. Do visit their tutorials and workshops. It is amazing indeed.

Mushroom Birthday Wishes.

Somehow I have always had this thing for mushrooms and strawberries. I think it is the organic design that is so attractive. Here I have kept the digi stamp of the mushroom very soft colors. In general this card could suit young and old and male or female. Even the font used is very unisex.

Hope you like the card coz I sure do.

What a gorgeous sketch. Like I always say, I am such a sucker for simplicity. It really has a language of its own. It also makes it easy for the real message to come across.

This sketch is from Skipping Stones which you can find at : http://skippingstonesdesign.com/ssd-056-stamp-along-with-us-and-try-out-this-amazing-sketch/and the sketch is as follows :
