DIY Mason jar makeover

All it took is some hot glue and chalk paint to revamp this mason jar.

I used the hot glue to make circular dots on the mason jar and let them dry out. I did it in batches on one side so that it would settle and not spread. Getting rid of the strings of glue was so annoying but it can be pulled off later as well.
This is how it looked once the glue hardened.
I painted it with folkart chalk paint – I gave it 2 coats – although I think, 3 coats would have been better.
