DIY Faux farmhouse Crate from Carton.

Hello friends.

Todays post is especially special – becoz I am joining my creative friends at Do It Over Designers.

How cool is it to connect with like minded creative friends who love to upcycle and breath life into old mundane objects – just like I do !!

My youngster son is an 18 year old who loves to shop online, especially from Amazon. So while my son enjoys his booty – I enjoy making use of the carton, his goods arrived in !!

Storage is just one purpose of these tiny to small size Amazon cartons – here’s one way I gave a makeover to the humble carton.

  1. Your faux crate looks amazing, Naush! Perfect for any decorative setting! How creative and unique to make this from a cardboard box! You are the best!

  2. You always come up with unique ideas and this faux box is another one! Adding the extra cardboard strips was the key to fooling us all that it’s a wood box.

    • 🙂 🙂 Thank you very much for your comment Allyson. I do love making small changes that can make a huge impact. I’m so so glad that you liked it.

  3. I would never think this crate was made out of a cardboard box. What a great idea! Now I know how to upcycle all the boxes I have or was throwing out. Thanks for sharing!

    • Aww !! Thank you dear friend. You are too kind with your encouragements. Actually, I love it too. This carton adorns my mantle, now.

  5. This is a great way to make use of some of those boxes that we have sitting around the house. Especially this year when we’re all ordering most of our gifts to be delivered to our houses and avoiding shopping in-store as much as possible. Is anyone else swimming in boxes? Just me? lol
